Boots and Footwear

Many shoe stores (online and otherwise) will carry standard boots or moccasins which will look just fine for LARPing; in fact, many of our players swear by Magnum brand tactical boots, because they are very comfortable, hold up well, and are relatively unobtrusive under costuming. However: if you are more interested in a more medieval-looking boot, the following merchants span the gamut from expensive-but-worth-it to inexpensive-but-look-great:

Catskill Mountain Moccasins - Custom, handmade moccasins in a breathtaking array of styles and colors, as well as pre-made leather sandals.

Mystic Soles - The new face of Bald Mountain Moccasins, Mystic Soles is another purveyor of handmade leather boots. Note, however, that they do not seem to have an online ordering method at this time!

SodHoppers - Sodhoppers offers buffalo & elk-skin moccasins in both standard and custom sizes and colors, and promises three-week delivery on their products!

Son of Sandlar - Custom-made, rugged boots in very simple styles - note that their site is currently under construction.

House of Andar - They offer one style of boot, in two colors: black and brown. But for that, you get great quality and design at a very good price!

Ren Boots - A wide selection of many different styles of boots, as well as other leather accessories and hats, all for very reasonable prices!
