Welcome to the website for the New River Valley live-action role-playing (LARP) Club known as The Camarilla, incorporating characters and events taking place in White Wolf's World of Darkness. Essentially, it's amateur improvisational dramatics in an imaginary world, narrated by storytellers and populated with the creatures of our mind's eye. 

Our games take place almost every weekend, in a variety of World of Darkness paradigms, be it fantasy, horror, or action-oriented. Most of our players are from the New River Valley in Virginia, USA, but there are Chapters and Domains of the Camarilla all over the US, and indeed the entire world. Traveling to other games, and having traveling players taking part in our events is a vital part of this world-spanning chronicle. New players interested to join should send an email to the Domain Storyteller and ask for more information. 

For our experienced players, this site ought to offer a wealth of background information about the World of Darkness, and the Camarilla in general. We will try to update the links to all 'official' Camarilla information regularly, as well as providing additional material of our own.

Below, you can choose to view in character (IC) details that you may be able to gain access to in-game (such as spending Lores to find out who the local prince is, for instance), and out of character (OOC) information that can help you understand the game and its concepts. The official Cam rules, protocols, lore descriptions, and a variety of other material is provided either mirrored or through links. We will also provide links to all relevant NRV Cam-related mailing lists, for IC/OOC interaction, socializing, and net play.
