The Undead are numerous on this island, and their origins are not entirely
clear. Certainly those unfortunate enough in the past to become shipwrecked
on this place have died and been taken by the Curse of Undeath. Now they hunt
those living, hating the living for their life, hungry for the taste of living
flesh. Is this the fate that awaits those now Shipwrecked here? Will their
souls be condemned, or will they find a means to end this Curse?
The Shipwrecked have discovered that there are many types of Undead which haunt this island, from souls who wander without rest until the wrongs of their past are put to right, to ravening undead who attack endlessly in the night.
Not all of the Undead are mindless, and some have come to remember the
Shipwrecked when they rise again to attack. Some are very powerful and serve
the Demons directly. Otherwise, rise nightly from their graves to strike against
any and all living things on this place.
Some
lost souls, like Cipher, have a chance of being saved. Others have given
themselves to Corruption truly, and seek only to serve the Spider.
All that dies on this island is fated to join their ranks. The Garandi Commander, Kenjiro, tainted by the Widowmaker, has fallen under Spider's influence since his death. But the actions of the Shipwrecked affect him as well. The more the Shipwrecked fight amongst themselves, the stronger Spider's influence grows.
